Clog London Raises Seed Round with Participation from VG Angels
Clog London raises seed round through VG Angels to scale mass-premium footwear retail across Tier 2 and Tier 3 India
New Delhi, 29th August 2026 — Clog London, a retail-first footwear brand built for the mass-premium segment in Tier 2 and Tier 3 India, has raised a seed round via Tej Kapoor- Bay Capital & ex- ICICI Ventures, Sanket Agarwal- Serial Entrepreneur & angel Investor, and other VG Angels.
Founded by Gopal Kishan Rathor in 2018, Clog London is building a new-age footwear brand for India’s fast-growing, aspirational consumers across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. With 700+ SKUs across men’s and women’s categories, the brand combines trend-forward design, everyday comfort and quality at accessible price points—addressing the gap between expensive global brands and unorganized players.
Siraj, Investor at VG Angels and Co-founder of LegaXy, sees Clog London as an opportunity to address the growing demand for quality, comfortable and accessible footwear across India’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The company’s retail-first approach, strong product portfolio and early validation of store-level economics provide a solid foundation for scalable growth. VG Angels is excited to support the team as it expands its retail footprint and builds a leading mass-premium footwear brand.
Clog London has developed a proven retail-first omnichannel model, with stores emerging as its core growth engine. Its pilot EBO in Jhansi, launched in 2023, validated strong store-level economics and consumer demand. The brand has since expanded across Jhansi, Gandhidham, Karnal, Noida, Bareilly and Delhi, with additional stores signed or in the pipeline across high-potential markets including Bhopal, Varanasi, Bengaluru and Vadodara.
The freshly raised capital will be used to accelerate store expansion, strengthen inventory and product depth, and expand Clog London’s presence across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. The company plans to launch 15+ stores over the next 18 months, taking its footprint to 25+ stores in the near term. The company aims to build a 100+ store network establishing Clog London as a leading challenger in India’s growing mass-premium footwear market.
