Wiscon BSE Listing

Venture Garage-backed Wiscon Industries lists on BSE SME
The Delhi-based Smart LED TV manufacturer and consumer electronics brand makes its market debut after a ₹110 crore IPO. We backed Wiscon in its pre-IPO round earlier this year.
New Delhi, 3 November 2026 — We are proud to share that Wiscon Industries Limited (“Wiscon”), a Venture Garage portfolio company, listed its equity shares on the BSE SME platform today.
Wiscon filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus with BSE SME on 23 July 2026. Earlier this year, we helped Wiscon raise its pre-IPO round before they filed for DRHP. True to how we work, we did not just arrange the capital: we invested alongside it. Seeing a company we backed ahead of its IPO ring the bell on listing day is exactly the journey, from first cheque to public markets, that Venture Garage was built to support.
Why we backed Wiscon
Wiscon is a leading OEM manufacturer of Smart LED TVs in India, supplying multiple Indian brands such as Salora, Uptron, Bush and Intex, while building its own consumer brand under the promise “Feel the Picture, Live the Moment” to bring a premium experience to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
Under the Wiscon brand, the company offers a diverse range of affordable home appliances, including Smart TVs, air conditioners, washing machines and air coolers, available across 300+ cities nationwide.
With two manufacturing facilities in Delhi and a combined annual capacity of 3.6 lakh Smart TVs, Wiscon pairs advanced technology, stringent quality control and cost efficiency to deliver premium yet value-driven products, with a particular focus on Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets.
To date, the company has powered over 50,000 households, built a network of 800+ dealers and distributors, and earned a 4.8★ consumer rating and 81K+ Instagram followers.
The opportunity we see
India’s consumer electronics market is growing rapidly, driven by domestic manufacturing policy (Make in India, PLI), rising digital adoption and strong demand from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. The Smart LED TV segment in particular continues to expand on the back of affordable pricing, deeper internet penetration and the shift to OTT entertainment.
The growth drivers we are watching:
- Government support for domestic manufacturing and import substitution
- Growing aspirations of semi-urban and rural consumers for branded electronics
- Expanding online retail and influencer-led digital marketing
- Rising adoption of smart, energy-efficient appliances
We believe Wiscon’s dual model, OEM TV manufacturing for established brands alongside brand-led growth across household categories, positions it to capture both B2B scale and B2C brand value.
