Danamojo is on the road to be the “platform of choice” for anyone thinking of giving donations or raising donations with a vision to channel INR 1,000 Cr in giving by individuals by 2025. Making it easier for India to Give- Making it easier for India to Raise.

Problem Statement

Individual Giving in India is currently 0.2% of GDP, vis-a-vis 1% in most developed countries. While CSR is actively sought after, individual givers are not tapped at all by the 2 Lac odd NGOs in India, despite a working population of nearly 100 Cr.
Danamojo believes that both these demonstrate the huge potential in individual giving as incomes increase in India and it moves into the ranks of developed countries over the next few years. We already see evidence of this in the growth of individual giving outpacing corporate giving by 2.5 x
over the last 3 years (source: Govt. of India Budget based on 80G exemptions claimed). We expect growth to continue at 15-20% CAGR for the market with individual organizations growing at 30-40% at the least.

Team

Founder & CEO is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Computer Science graduate from VJTI, Mumbai. He has an experience of over 15 years spanning technology, management consulting and philanthropy advisory and has worked with multinationals such as Citigroup and A. T. Kearney.
